1. General betting requirements

You must have an active account and provide accurate information when registering and using the betting services. Information may be checked before an account is opened, before a bet is accepted, during account use, or before a withdrawal is processed. You are responsible for keeping your account details current and for protecting your login information. An account must be used only by the person in whose name it is registered.

Page contents

You must be at least 18 years old and must use the services only where online gambling is lawful. It is your responsibility to understand the rules that apply in your location. You must not use the betting services if doing so would breach any law, restriction, court order, account exclusion, or other requirement that applies to you.

Slotsgem Casino may apply reasonable verification, security and safer gambling checks. These checks can include confirming your identity, age, location, payment information, source of funds or account activity. You may be asked to provide documents or other information. If required checks are incomplete or unsuccessful, access to betting or withdrawals may be restricted until the matter is resolved.

  • One person must not create or operate multiple accounts unless expressly permitted under the applicable account rules.
  • You must not use another person's account, payment method or identity information.
  • You must not attempt to manipulate a market, game, result, promotion or betting system.
  • You must not use automated tools, software, bots or other methods intended to interfere with normal betting activity.
  • You must not place bets on behalf of another person or allow another person to control your account.
  • You must comply with any account, deposit, wagering, withdrawal or safer gambling limits that apply to you.

If there is a suspected breach of these rules, unusual activity, technical interference, fraud or unlawful conduct, betting activity may be reviewed and an account may be restricted while the review takes place. Any action will be handled in accordance with the applicable terms, internal procedures and legal requirements.

2. Placing and accepting bets

Before placing a bet, check the event, market, selection, odds, stake, potential return and any displayed conditions. A bet is submitted when you confirm the required details and follow the on-screen instructions. Adding a selection to a bet slip does not mean that the bet has been placed or accepted.

A bet is normally treated as accepted only when confirmation is displayed in your account or when the bet appears in your betting history. A transaction reference, confirmation screen or similar record may be provided. You should check your betting history and report any apparent issue as soon as reasonably possible.

A bet may be rejected, delayed, suspended or cancelled before acceptance for reasons including market suspension, price changes, unavailable events, technical problems, account restrictions, insufficient funds, verification requirements or suspected irregular activity. The display of a market or price is not a guarantee that a bet will be accepted.

Odds and other displayed information may change before a bet is confirmed. Where an odds change is shown, you may be asked to accept the updated price before the bet can be submitted. If the updated price is not accepted, the bet may not proceed. The terms shown at the time of confirmation are generally used to determine the bet, subject to correction rules and the applicable product-specific rules.

You must ensure that your stake and selection are correct before confirming a bet. Except where a cancellation, cash-out, amendment or other option is expressly made available, a submitted and accepted bet cannot normally be changed. Features that appear on the website or in an application may not be available for every event, market, account or time period.

Bet slips and bet types

The available bet types may include single bets, combination bets, in-play bets, fixed-odds bets or other options. The meaning of each bet type, the way selections are combined, and the way returns are calculated may differ. A product page, bet slip or specific rules may provide further information. If a term is not clear, do not confirm the bet until you have reviewed the relevant information.

For combination bets, every selection may need to meet the relevant settlement conditions before the full combination can win. If a selection is void, the effect on the remaining bet will depend on the bet type and applicable rules. Accumulator, system, each-way and similar bets can have additional calculations, so always review the displayed terms before confirming.

In-play betting may involve delays between an event taking place, information being displayed and a bet being accepted. Prices can change quickly, and a market may be suspended while an important event occurs. A bet submitted during a suspension may be rejected or may not be accepted until the market is reopened.

3. Results, settlement and corrections

Bets are settled using the official result or outcome selected for the relevant event, game or market. The source used to determine a result may vary by product. Product-specific rules can explain how official results, abandoned events, postponed events, dead heats, ties, statistics and other unusual circumstances are treated.

A result may be changed after initial settlement if the official result is corrected, an administrative error is identified, or information becomes available that affects the outcome. Where permitted, an incorrect settlement may be reversed and recalculated. This can include correcting a payment made in error or adjusting an account balance.

If an event is abandoned, postponed, interrupted, rescheduled or changed, the bet may be void, carried forward or settled under the applicable event rules. The treatment can depend on the market, whether the required part of the event was completed, and whether the event takes place within a specified period. A change to the venue, participants, format or starting time may also affect settlement.

Where a market is offered with an obvious error, incorrect price, incorrect participant, incorrect handicap, incorrect line or other clear mistake, the bet may be reviewed. A clear error may be corrected or voided in accordance with the applicable terms. This is intended to deal with genuine errors and does not remove any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

A market can be settled as a win, loss, void, push or another result depending on its rules. A void bet is generally treated as though it did not take place, subject to any specific rule for combination or related bets. Any return shown in an account is subject to final settlement, account checks and correction of genuine errors.

Disputes and account records

If you believe a bet has been recorded, accepted or settled incorrectly, review the bet details and raise the issue through the available support channel. Include the relevant bet reference, date, market and nature of the concern. An issue should be reported promptly because records, event information and technical data may not remain available indefinitely.

Account statements, betting history, transaction records and system logs may be used when reviewing a dispute. Website displays can be affected by connection problems, device settings, delays or interruptions. Where there is a conflict between a temporary display and the final account or system record, the matter will be reviewed using the available evidence and applicable rules.

4. Responsible betting and service availability

Betting should be an entertainment activity, not a way to make money or solve financial problems. Only bet with money you can afford to lose. Set a budget before you start and avoid increasing your stakes to recover losses. Do not bet when you are affected by alcohol, drugs, stress, anger or other circumstances that may affect your judgement.

  • Set personal deposit, spending, loss or session limits where those tools are available.
  • Take regular breaks and keep track of how much time and money you spend.
  • Do not borrow money, sell belongings or use essential household funds to bet.
  • Do not chase losses by placing larger or more frequent bets.
  • Talk to someone you trust if betting is becoming difficult to control.
  • Use available time-out, self-exclusion or account restriction options if you need a break.

Requests for account restrictions or self-exclusion should be made through the available account or support process. A restriction may apply for a stated period or until a required review is completed. You must not try to avoid a restriction by opening another account or using another person's account. If you are concerned about your gambling, seek assistance from an appropriate independent support service in your state or territory.

Online services may be unavailable or interrupted because of maintenance, network issues, device problems, events outside reasonable control or other technical circumstances. A connection to the website does not guarantee that a bet will be received or accepted. If a bet is not shown in your betting history, do not assume that it was placed; check the account record before trying again.

These rules should be read together with the current Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, safer gambling information and any rules shown for a particular product. If there is an inconsistency, the product-specific rule may apply to the relevant bet, subject to the governing terms and applicable Australian law. Rules may be updated from time to time, so review the current version before using the betting services.
